Lawson Hill to Mountain Village Route
SMART is providing service between Lawson Hill and the Mountain Village Core, including a stop at the Mountain Village Town Hall/Market. This service provides a transit option for people who:
- Live in Lawson Hill and work in the primary employment centers of Mountain Village.
- Commute on SMART routes from Nucla, Naturita, Norwood or Down Valley and work in Mountain Village.
- Work in Mountain Village and would like to take advantage of the free parking at the Lawson Hill Park & Ride.
- Live in Mountain Village and would like to catch the Durango to Grand Junction CDOT Bustang with stops at the Lawson Hill Park & Ride.
This service is timed for transfers at the Lawson Hill Park & Ride with existing SMART regional routes and provides a more direct option to Mountain Village rather than going into Telluride and taking the gondola.
