Mountain Village
SMART proudly offers service to Lawson Hill and Mountain Village.
Beginning November 18, 2022, SMART is implementing this new pilot transit service that will operate between Lawson Hill and the Mountain Village Center, including a stop at the Mountain Village Town Hall/Market. Enjoy this free service and ride often! If the demand for this new route is high enough, this route will be continued in the future. Help support this new route to enhance mobility options for everyone.

Times in italic are flag stops. Times are approximate. Please be early. Drivers will coordinate between the Mountain Village bus and buses coming from Norwood and Down Valley to ensure connections.
Lawson Hill to Mountain Village Route
SMART is providing service between Lawson Hill and the Mountain Village Core, including a stop at the Mountain Village Town Hall/Market. This service provides a transit option for people who:
- Live in Lawson Hill and work in the primary employment centers of Mountain Village.
- Commute on SMART routes from Nucla, Naturita, Norwood or Down Valley and work in Mountain Village.
- Work in Mountain Village and would like to take advantage of the free parking at the Lawson Hill Park &AMp; Ride.
- Live in Mountain Village and would like to catch the Durango to Grand Junction CDOT Bustang with stops at the Lawson Hill Park &AMp; Ride.
This service is timed for transfers at the Lawson Hill Park &AMp; Ride with existing SMART regional routes and provides a more direct option to Mountain Village rather than going into Telluride and taking the gondola.
